Lots of horizontal integrated enterprises care about how to reduce costs and improveefficiency under the pressures of RMB appreciation and rising of the material cost. So moreand more attention is paid to supply chain operations by managers and scholars.Horizontal integrated enterprises can eliminate waste and optimize the allocation ofresources by the integration of the supply chain operation. It can really achieve internalcoordination and gain economies of scale. The industry drivers are to analyze the marketcharacteristics of the industry, and to measure the potential integration of horizontal integratedenterprises. It includes the cost, market, government, and competitive. Internal integration isthe basis of the external supply chain integration. Companies take horizontal integration andin order to avoid internal fighting each other between the different supply chains. Therefore,the purpose of the study includes:(1) Performance in horizontal integrated enterprises isdifferent because of the different industry drivers.(2) What should the supply chain operationmode include? And how does the supply chain management mode affect businessperformance?(3) From the perspective of micro-operations, whether the four dimensions ofindustry drivers affect the relationship between supply chain operation mode and businessperformance?This study uses empirical analysis. Firstly, this article summarizes the status of horizontalintegration and motivation, and summarizes the practical elements of the supply chainoperation mode. Secondly, combined scenario analysis with industry drivers, and clarify thestatus of research and research questions. Do a comprehensive analysis of supply chainoperation mode and industry drivers of the impact on business performance by the use of theresource based theory, coordination theory and structural contingency theory. Finally, thisarticle do a statistical analysis of sample data by SPSS18.0and AMOS18.0, and come to thefollowing conclusions.(1) Horizontal integration of supply chain operation mode has apositive impact on firm performance.(2)Cost drivers and market drivers have positive impacton firm performance, and the government drivers and competitive drivers were not significant.(3) Horizontal integrated enterprises are facing higher cost-driven and market-driven. And thelower government-driven illustrates the phenomenon of local protection. At last somemeasures for the integrated enterprise supply chain operations are given. |
