Comparative Analysis Of Great Depression And Financial Crisis

With the rapid development of world economy, economic problems and crisis have becomeincreasingly prominent. In2007, the U.S. mortgage crisis triggered the biggest financial crisis sincethe Great Depression of the1930s in last century,. From the perspective of the Marxism-financialcrisis theory, the crisis in the capitalist market economy system is inevitable and will be reality. It isin this context, the author carried out a comparative study of the Great Depression of the U.S.economy and the financial crisis with the above theory.First, the background, purpose, significance, research methodology and research status of thestudy were introduced. Then the financial crisis theory of Marxism was detailed combed anddescribed, and on this basis, the outbreak background, performance and underlying causes of theGreat Depression of the U.S. economy and the financial crisis were analyzed, as well as responsestrategy to the crisis. Subsequently, the author carried out a comparative study from various anglesof the two crises, these areas including the background, the performance, causes, measures andimpact of the crisis. Finally, the author introduced and analyzed the impact of the financial crisis toour country and summarized the response strategy to the financial crisis from the point of view ofmacroeconomic, foreign trade and financial markets.Through this study, we have a deeper understanding of the Marxism-financial crisis theory,and also have a new understanding of the financial crisis. The Comparative Study also allows us tosee many new manifestations. More importantly, this study, we can better respond to the variouscrises that may arise, this is precisely the purpose of this study.
