Ningbo Industrial Transfer Mode Study To The Central And Western Regions

Regional economic development bases on process of industrial structure optimization and upgrading, and this process is dependent on industry transfer across different regions. With the long-term economic development and changes of global macroeconomic environment in recent years, Constraints from resources and environment have become the key factor of hindering continuous development of Zhejiang province, and to accelerate speed of economic transformation is becoming more and more urgent. In this context, the number of eastern enterprises which have transferred to the central and western regions is growing bigger. As the economic center of Zhejiang, Ningbo plays an important role in Zhejiang’s economy. Therefore, Research on industry transfer in Ningbo has a far-reaching significance for studying on economic development in Zhejiang, even on the entire eastern region of China.Based on theoretical overview of industry transfer, the author analyzes the reasons, channels and obstacles of industry transfer in Ningbo according to a questionnaire of31enterprises, and hopes to fully understand the characteristics and the specific pattern of industry transfer in Ningbo.The results show that many Ningbo companies set up manufacturing units, established sales network in central and western areas, or acquired local companies in central and western regions of China. The majority of these companies are large private enterprises, and "market expansion" is the main motive of them. In general, the scale of industry transfer in Ningbo is pretty small, and the pattern of shift is expanding and market-oriented.Then, the author establishes "corporate behavior model", to further explore the internal mechanism of the Ningbo industrial transfer mode.At last, based on the above discussion, the article develops six effective suggestions, wishing to help the governments and enterprises to avoid the hindrances and to promote rational industry transfer.
