E-commerce has become an important form of modern commerce, which is an effective means to help businesses succeed. Facing with trend of economic globalization and the resource of cross-regional allocation, Shanxi’s coal enterprises is necessary to implement the new business strategy which is based on the e-commerce platform.This thesis takes Shanxi A Coal Company as the example, which is a large-scale coal company supported by the government. After a very detailed analysis of company’s current stage conditions, the e-commerce strategies were established.In the first two chapters, the thesis briefly discusses the research background, significance and research methods. In the third chapter, it introduces some information about the company and describes the necessities for the company to develop and at the same time, it also points out the development status and shortcomings of e-commerce in coke industry. Chapter4mainly uses SWOT model to analyze in detail about the external and internal competitive environment, strengths, weaknesses, and external opportunities and difficulties resistance and on this basis, the suitable e-commerce development strategy for the company is established. Ultimately, the goal of the company’s strategy is identified as:shortening the time and space distance of the coal merchant, realizing the zero-distance butt joint between producers and consuming companies. Under the support of e-commerce, forming a keeping pace with the times’new-industry with coal as its aim. Eventually it will become the leader of the coal industry in the province and modern financial platform for the construction of coal industry and realize informatization of their business. After the confirmation of strategic objectives, the thesis makes the specific design, and also combined with the actual needs of the company and according to the function category and sub-module, building the company’s e-commerce website and e-commerce trading platform system. The fifth chapter is the implementation of corporate strategy and security, on the basis of a strategic level, adopting the project management to develop a project schedule and in strict accordance with the progress to ensure real-time monitoring and scientific management in order to make sure smooth implementation auxiliary strategy. Due to e-commerce strategy being the company’s long-term goal planning, and in order to make sure realize it smoothly, a few basic safeguards is put forward. Finally, Chapter6is a brief summary and outlook.
