Political economics occupies a leading position in Chinese economic theory circle and plays an important guiding role in our country’s economic construction. However, with the deepening of our country’s reform, opening-up and modernization, western economics are being introduced into our country greatly and used widely, the political economics discipline is facing the risk of being weakened and marginalized, and the political economics system presents a trend of diversification and serious differentiation. Now it is in urgent need to clear up the evolution of our country’s political economics system and define the development direction of our country’s political economics. The political economics system is the unity of its object, methods and structure. The paper first discusses the evolution of the political economics system by sorting and comparing the textbooks and works of political economics during all periods of our country. Through analysis, we know that the political economics system experiences three periods:"classical system","traditional system" and "the improvement of traditional system and modern mode". Secondly, the paper explores the powers which promote the evolution of our country’s political economics system by analyzing factors, such as the reform of our country’s economic system, the development of capitalist economy and the introduction of foreign economics. Finally, in view of the problems that exist in our country’s political economics system, such as diversification and serious differentiation, delayed innovation and development of theories, lacking logic consistency, the paper puts forward some suggestions to construct a scientific, dynamic and open political economics system.
