The performance evaluation is an important means to achieve corporate strategic objectivesand internal control. It has a vital role in the operation and management of the enterprise. Theperformance evaluation is a crucial part of the corporate performance management, and it isbeing increasingly valued. With the industrial gas industry developing vigorously, Company Gneeds to deal with the fierce market competition and to seize the opportunities breeding underthe state of rapid development. A scientific and rational performance evaluation model not onlycan effectively help the company G improve its strategic execution and achieve strategicobjectives, but also can enhance its core competitiveness. Therefore, it is of much importance toestablish a scientific and rational branch performance evaluation model for company G existingin the form of total-the branch. The paper uses the core idea of the "contribution rate" to buildthe performance evaluation mode of branch of Company G in order to improve and refine theexisting performance evaluation system.Firstly, the paper undertakes a research on the theory of performance evaluation. Secondly,the paper analyzes Company G and its branch by the mean of SWOT and discusses thedisadvantages of the existing branch performance appraisal system. And then, the paper adoptsthe core idea of "contribution rate" to design the branch performance evaluation model ofCompany G. The model evaluates the performance of branch from these five aspects: sizecontribution, development speed contribution, customer exploitation contribution, accountsreceivable contribution and gross sales contribution. Index weight is given by the method ofexpert scoring and the entropy in the model. And then, the paper uses the model to obtain theevaluation results which will be analyzed and applied. Finally, the paper proposes somerecommendations to branch performance evaluation model based on the research on the branchof Company G.
