Research On Supplying And Relevant Policy Of Government-subsidized Housing In China

Solutions to supply problems of government-subsidized housing construction are solutions to important livelihood issues. Due to historical reasons and the development trend of urbanization, it has intensified the contradictions between supply and demand of the government-subsidized housing in China. These contradictions mainly reflect in the following aspects:unsound laws, regulations and institutions that relate to the construction of government-subsidized housing, single form of government-subsidized housing, imperfect system supervision mechanism for economically affordable housing, slow pace of establishing low-rental housing system, unsound public accumulation funds, and shortage of statistics for housing census, all of which have restrained the further development of government-subsidized housing in China. In order to solve all these problems, we have to start from reality, and also learn experience of solving similar problems from western developed countries. We have to innovate the supply system of government-subsidized housing in China, create solid environment for constructing government-subsidized housing, and establish various ways of government-subsidized housing, so as to meet the housing requirements of groups with different income, consummate the public accumulation system of housing, as well as the access and return mechanism of government-subsidized housing. Through diversified financing methods, it will solve the financing difficulties of building government-subsidized housing in our country, thus radically solving the problems exist in the supply system of government-subsidized housing.
