This means that in the next few years, in order to adapt to the rapiddevelopment of these third-tier cities as Jinzhou city, the demand for retail managers willincrease significantly. Because retail managers do quality level of the retail management workperformance has obvious effects, retrieve, and analyzes Jinzhou city’s managers do city retailquality status, then puts forward Jinzhou city retail managers competency suggestion willhave very important significance in theory and practice.In this study with Jinzhou for research scope city, with retail enterprise managers forresearch object, by the competent for quality for the direction of research, through the searchrelated literature for data collection, construct retail managers do quality managementperformance model and puts forward-theoretical assumptions. According to the theory model of the variable to design questionnaire, using SPSS the questionnaire investigation dataanalysis on reliability analysis, validity analysis (i.e. exploratory factor analysis) andregression analysis to verify the rationality of the design of questionnaire and the theoreticalmodel of the scientific nature. Through the analysis on the questionnaire result SPSSdescriptive statistics and the correlation analysis, get the following conclusion: JinZhouShiretail management between each other the competence of the quality difference is not big, theretail managers with particularly good performance a minority; Interpersonal dimension, andpersonal qualities dimension is the key dimension to make good work performance for retailmanagers; Professional knowledge and skills, communication ability, training others andwork experience is retail enterprise managers generally have the competence of the basicquality; Achievement motive and ability of handling crisis, social skills, emotional controlability and team management ability is most retail managers have and their personalperformance have significantly positive impact on the important role for quality; BuildingShared ision,personality charm, confidence and market consciousness which retail managersin work are the lack of but its performance has a significant positive effects of influence is thekey for quality.
