Complex logistics system is such a logistics system which is composed of a number of supply-side, demand-side entities. It is usually in an uncertain environment. Complex logistics system, which is based on a complex discrete event, is hybrid system of continuous event and discrete event. Currently, many of the domestic and foreign research scholars have begun to research the complex logistics system from the view of systems engineering, considering the logistics chain optimization and integration. The research of complex logistics systems is based on a systematic, dynamic, adaptive point of view, focusing on the modeling research for logistics system complex adaptive, in order to promote the complex logistics’improvement and development.First of all, on the basis of the introduction of the logistics system, this paper analyzes the basic characteristics of logistics system by using complex adaptive system theory. Then this paper analyzes complex adaptive of logistics system which shows that the logistics system is a typical complex adaptive system with evolved and co-evolution and emerging, dynamic and complex environment of interaction, and most importantly creates a conceptual model for a complex adaptive logistics system. Then the paper analyzes the mechanism of the logistics system’s complex adaptability and establishes a complex logistics system’s quantitative model; after that, it introduces the CAS-based modeling method of complex logistics systems, including optimization modeling method, heuristic modeling method and system simulation methods, summed up the complex logistics systems’simulation strategy based on CAS, such as Event Scheduling strategies, activities, strategies and processes to scan simulation interactive simulation strategies; In the last place, based on system theory, considering fuzziness of customers’need of logistics enterprise, the paper uses triangular fuzzy numbers to analyze the fuzzy demand, studies the model of order-up-to level on the condition of allowing out-of-stock, and using time-based event scheduling method step simulation strategy, and tries to apply Repast Simphony to the simulation of a case. The result of simulation shows that the model can provide support decisions for inventory management of logistics enterprise.
