Corporate is confronted with intensive challenges of diversified aspects under the trend of economic globalization and-rapid social development. A corporate aimed at better survival and development is required to posses its unique core competitiveness. Many cases have evidenced that the reconstruction of corporate culture is the motive power for its development and the core competitiveness [1], as pointed out by Schein, a renowned American management scientist. Corporate culture ensures the survival, the innovation and the core competitiveness enhancement of a corporate. More importantly, corporate culture is the key to the sustainable development of a corporate. The research on corporate culture is, to this extent, particularly significant.As the very first railway construction corporate in China, CREGC has developed successfully and constantly over61years thanks to the building of the corporate culture. The core value of Trailblazer has maintained as the powerful motive to CREGC’s development. Presently, CREGC puts forward the vision of development as being a leading Chinese contractor and urban operator with international competitiveness, based upon which the research on CREGC corporate culture becomes particular significant.This article consists of five sections. In the first section, the author elaborates the background and significance of the research on CREGC corporate culture, with the presentation of abundant domestic and overseas research status, and put forward how to build corporate culture in socialism with Chinese characteristics. The second section makes introduction on the theories in relation to the building of corporate culture, including the connotation, functions and structures of corporate culture and the analysis of the corporate core value. Furthermore, this section lays down the theoretical basis of building corporate culture. The third section, based upon the questionnaire survey for the current situations of CREGC corporate culture, the author analyzes and summarizes the success of CREGC corporate culture, and points out the existing problems and solutions. The fourth section shows the analysis on the practical environment and current situation of CREGC corporate culture building, with combination of the principles and requirements as well as the goals and content of building, the author puts forward the measures and improvement proposal on building CREGC corporate culture accordingly. In the fifth section, the author makes summary and prospect for this article.
