Recently, as the economic growing and the development of living standard, the home appliances become more important in daily life. And the speed of sales volume is increasing more than10%each year. At the same time, home appliance industry turns to be one of the most competitive industries. Several home appliance chain retailers expand their power nationwide through chain operation, scale effect and low price, dominating the main distribution channel of home appliance.As the supply chain mode that retail chain store being the core member become increasingly popular, it’s hard to make profit by reducing price or expanding the scale of operation. The innovation of home appliance supply chain is extremely in need, to step into a period of logistics and supply chain competition.Distribution capability is the basis of home appliances chain enterprises, which directly influences their cost and profit. So choosing a proper distribution mode is key to home appliances chain enterprises.This paper first analyzes the logistics current situation of home appliances retailers and manufacturers. Based on third party logistics and supply chain management theory, the feasibility and tendency of third party logistics using in home appliances chain is demonstrated. Taking Gome as an example, through analyzing the current situation and efficiency from supply and sales logistics, we build a model to study her development strategy.The main research results are as follows. Based on analyzing logistics and supply chain management, we bring out development strategies such as distribution mode selection in sales logistics and optimum proposal of coordination management inventory in supply logistics.
