This article took the plain region for example and studied the village layout planning.First of all, this article analyzed relevant theories on village layout planning at home and abroad,elaborated the related conceptions and theories and analyzed the status, characteristics and problems of inthe village of plain region.Secondly, made the layouts plan to the villages. Within the Township domain, by building thevillage’s evaluation index system about comprehensive development potential, estimate the developmentpotential of the existing villages. Order the village based on the comprehensive development potential ofthe village. The high comprehensive development potential will be identified as the center of the village,the low comprehensive development potential will be determined as moving village and retaining village.Thus will form a village layout program.Test and adjust the village layout program by the radius of service.As a result form the final layout program.Then, all types of construction sites within the village will be studied. Divided the constructionland into some kinds: land for construction of residential areas, public facilities land, productive land, landfor roads and squares, public green space, public facilities land and other uses of land. Based on thepopulation and the size of the village, study the various construction sites, determine its location, size etc.,to facilitate the villagers’ production and living. Trough the rational distribution of the village planning,construction land will be used reasonably and save a lot of land resources. It will to provide more landresources for the development of the rural economy.
