In the information age, a lot of text information emerge out in the working and learningprocess, especially the investigation reports that contain abundant information. On the one handthe investigation reports include a lot of useful information, on the other hand they also bring thechallenges for people to read and master information. Through establishing the visualizationmodel of the investigation report, text information is displayed in the form of maps. It canshorten readers’ time effectively, and also can find the potential information to promote theeffective use of information.Through the analysis of the text structure and combined with the concept of stratificationtheory, the paper completes the definition of entity type and size characteristics of the entity;Combination of the generalized theory and size characteristics of the entity to define the internaland external relationships of entity; In the premise of automatic segmentation, apply the rulesand dictionaries to extract entities; Utilization of pattern matching and Ontology as the basedhybrid mode to extract the relationship of entities. Under the Card’s information visualizationreference model, the paper constructs the visualization model of the report, and points out theanalysis methods of the visual result. Finally, combined with earlier studies, the paper uses theresources’ survey as a case to visualize and show the results of visual analysis.Investigation report visualization model based on complex networks complete theanalysis of investigation report, and extract key information of the survey report. Thevisualization results show not only the intuitive text messages, but also the potential information, clustering the associate information. The research can enrich visualizationtheory and extended the study of complex networks on text relation.
