This paper studies the relationship between China’s industrial enterprises in fossil energy consumption and Industrial added value, and aims to analyze whether the growth of China’s industrial economy is caused by the consumption of fossil fuels. By analyzing the fossil energy consumption of the three industries in China, the industrial enterprises are the main sectors of the fossil energy consumption. With the data of industrial added value and end-fossil energy consumption from1980to2009, finding that China’s industrial sector fossil energy consumption of actual industrial added value of one-way Granger causality, namely, industrial growth is caused by Fossil energy consumption by unit root test, co-integration test and granger causality test. Through the cluster analysis and factor analysis, this paper evaluates the overall effectiveness of the industrial sectors, using the enterprise units as an inspection variable. The results show that the number of enterprise units has a great impact on the effectiveness of ranking, and it is necessary for us to improve the access threshold for textiles and other industries, meanwhile, accelerate the pace of merger and reorganization of these enterprises.
