Both the port production efficient and tug fleet economic benefits can develop well only when the number of port tug is reasonable and forward-looking, reduce the cost of the purchase and operation and ensure that ship safety.Firstly,the paper introduced Shenzhen Port in general and analysis the current situation of the tug fleet, including the investment income conditions and utilization situation, and then forecast the future market development trend.Next part of the paper predicted some production elements combining with exponential smoothing forecasting methods, such as port throughput and the ship number arrived port, the two elements is not only the important index in assessment of the port production, but also the necessary reference standard in the research of tug fleet. In the research of tug fleet configuration, from the condition of port production elements,we can analysis future tug fleet horsepower in single factor respectively according to the port throughput and ship number arrived to port number; from the condition of company operation, we will use the fuzzy optimization model to calculate the optimal sort of tug horsepower through the four selected indicators.Finally, on the basis of two aspects,combining the expert experience, we will determine the structure of the tug fleet configuration in2012.This paper expects that through the correlation analysis, we can put forward a rigorous calculation method for a science and reasonable configuration for port tug, reducing the blindness in the calculation port tug configuration. Further more, this can meet the need of Port the production, business operation management and future development.
