Creative industry is booming all over the world. China’s animation industry and the advertising industry have put quality into the stage. The animation market has great potential and the performance of advertising changes with times. Supported by digital technology, the applications of animation in advertising are becoming more popular, at the same time, the degree of integration of animation and advertising is growing. Therefore, the research for animation advertising is pressing.Based on the research results collected from animation industry and advertising industry, the author has outlined the content, function, and development of animation ads. Then a comprehensive analysis of market conditions has been made, including the analysis of PEST environment and industrial environment from different angles so that we can get a more systematic description of the background of animation advertising. In the following part, the author has analyzed the current situation and elements characteristics in animation advertising market, including audience, media, advertising companies, as well as highlighted the problems of current advertising market, comprising content production, distribution, transmission, industrial management, marketing and so on. Finally, by use of the theories of advertising, industrial economics, marketing and the analysis of other related cases in advertising industry, specific recommendations strategies to improve our national advertising market have been proposed. In this paper, the innovation point lies in exploring the research from the perspective of industry value chain and marketing communications.However, the research on animation advertising needs to be enriched and constantly improved in the course of its development and practice. The commercial value and cultural value in animation ads need to be further excavated. Only the animation industry and advertising industry are fully integrated, animation ads can be effectively promoted. The research is just a tip of the iceberg in whole study system of animation advertising on the context of the digital era, which hopes to make a little contribution on the integration of animation and advertising industry so as to realize economic, cultural and social interests of animation advertising.
