Abstract/Summary:
Recently, the traffic technique of our country keeps continuous improvement. Especially the growing of city border traffic is booming. There has appeared the moving vehicles and high-speed railway as the inter-city trains. But with the development of traffic technique, the travel behavior of customers becomes very complicated. In fact, the travel behavior is customers’choice behavior that fit the theory of consumer choice behavior. But it must be an important aspect of travelers’expectation for service quality of traffic. For the psychological needs of travelers, most of them may pay attention to the following factors: safety, quickness, smoothness, economy, comfortableness and quiet environment.This paper summarized the research literature and researched the travelers’zone of tolerance from their psychological factors and the services of transports. Besides, the paper will also do research on relationship about the travel distance and zone of tolerance as well as the relationship between the travel reason and travel time and the zone of tolerance. The service characters of transports in this paper are divided into four aspects:economy, safety, comfortableness, convenience and speediness.According to the empirical research, different service characters of the transports have different zones of tolerance. And the order of the zone of tolerance from wide to narrow is as follows:economy, comfortableness, convenience and speediness, safety. In addition, the travel distance and the number of travel people will also influence the zone of tolerance.At last, the paper discussed the way about how to improve the service quality in order to increase the consumer loyalty. At the same time, the paper analyzes the study limitations and the research trend.
