With the coming of 3G Era, the situation of telecommunications market has undergone significant changes. China Telecom Market is gradually forming a new pattern of competition in which comprehensive power of parties is relatively balanced. Only if we comply with market development, reform and innovate the channel management actively, combine the marketing theory with telecommunications, and apply these methods on marketing operating, it can be bring up that the marketing ability with competitive advantage and sustainable development.This paper mainly studied the issues about YuLin Telecom’s public marketing channel management innovation and the improvements of operating capability. Based on the theory of Marketing management and channel management, the basic concepts and management method of marketing channel management are discussed, provide the foundation for diagnosis of YuLin Telecom’s channel management and problem-solving.YuLin Telecom’s public marketing channels involve four forms like direct channel, entity channel, social channel, electronic channel. In this paper the problems existed in YuLin’s Telecom public market operations management are addressed and analyzed, in which many problems limited the further development of channel are pointed out respectively such as that direct-sale-channel community, precision marketing in residential quarters, entity channel layout of business lobby, staff’s management assessment, terminal sales and sales process, distribution of social channel cooperation network, business development capacity and its controllability, electric channel promotion and active marketing. Based on the theoretically analysis and research, and incorporated the Practical experience of YuLin Telecom company marketing channel promotion project, take a regional branch Of YuLin Telecom as example, we proposed the promotion strategies of YuLin Telecom public channel marketing management from several aspects as channel marketing strategy, channel marketing management, channel marketing control, et al. It was also pointed out that how to deal with channel optimization, business process reengineering(BPR), model update, performance-oriented adjustment, enhance the effect of channel management, increase cooperation among the various channels, improve marketing efforts.
