Research Into The Influencing Factors Of The Carrier Function Of China’s Farmers’ Specia Lized Cooperative Economic Organization

During the past three decades, the agricultural development relied on thehousehold contract responsibility system, which focuses on individuality. Against thebackground of high-cost and high-risk agriculture, the rural development must gotoward co-operative organization road. The unpredictable market risks could be resistedby mutual cooperation and organizational strength, and the land-based interests offarmers could be maximized. Farmer cooperative organization is an importantorganization carrier of agricultural production under the market economic system,which on behalf of the economic and cultural interests of the peasantry, is anindispensable means to promote rural development, push forward the industrializedoperation of agriculture, help the realization of farmers’ common prosperity, and build anew socialist countryside. Therefore, to study the influencing factors of farmercooperative organizations to bring into full play possesses very important practicalsignificance.The structure of the paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is theintroduction, mainly on the background of the topics, the purpose and significance ofthe research, ideas and methods of the study, the emphasis and difficulties andinnovations, and specifically defined the basic terms about farmer cooperativeorganizations and the carrier function.The second chapter is a literature review ofrelevant studies of farmer cooperative organizations and the related theoretical basis areexplained. The third chapter is the analysis for the development status the characteristicsand the main problems of the farmer cooperative organizations. The fourth chapter isthe related theoretical analysis of the influencing factors for the carrier function offarmer cooperative organizations to bring into full play, including farmers’consciousness, financial factors, technical factors, government policies and informationfactors. The fifth chapter is the empirical research section. Based on the sample dates ofChongqing city, we studied the main influencing factors for the carrier function offarmer cooperative organizations to bring into full play. The final chapter is theconclusion and policy recommendations derived from theoretical and empiricalresearch.The results of theoretical analysis and empirical research show that the carrierfunction of rural specialized cooperative economic organization has a positive impact on promoting the development of farmer cooperative organizations. The findings showthat china’s farmer cooperative organizations carrier function is not strong. Financialfactors, government policy support factors, awareness factors of farmer cooperativeorganizations, and technical factors play significant roles upon the carrier function offarmer cooperative organizations. According to the conclusion, the targeted policyrecommendations include:①raise awareness for the farmer cooperative organizations;②to strengthen the financial support and broaden the financing channels;③tostrengthen the policy support and improve the policy enviroment;④to strengthen thetechnical support for the farmer cooperative organizations;⑤to improve theinformation support for farmers’ cooperative society.
