The game is the inevitable outcome of the process of human development, itbrings together leisure and mutual communication between the establishment ofmutual trust and peaceful manner, and lay the foundation for future cooperationdivision of labor. In late1999, with the development of computer network technology,the online games really mature, intuitive combat effects and complexity of the plotbegan to attract young people. In2010, China’s domestic online game market capacityreached32.74billion, computer sales and broadband consumption, the driving force ofthe cafes groups.With the development of online games, its marketing is also increasingly complex,from the original single path to the depth of the multi-channel marketing. However,even the latest online marketing programs, are also frequent speculation market,leading to the unsatisfactory state of marketing effectiveness.In this paper, a new system of marketing theory, customer segmentation,combined with China’s actual situation, and gradually the various steps of themarketing analysis. First, the customer base of online games, and cultural categoriessubdivided and classified. After the results of Product portfolio categorize, select thetarget customer base, the research enterprise to achieve strategic advantage, combinedwith the current media situation, and ultimately select the communication of therecommendation for the online game mode and can learn from the promotion strategy.Based on actual market conditions of the online game and guide the marketing system,step-by-step instructions from the operating system to address these marketingproblems. And three marketing concept, the demand for marketing, reverse marketingand progressive marketing is given. Finally, we provide three suggest to the socialmarketing of online games.
