The Research On The China-usa Comparison And The Spillover Effects Of Chinese Computer Enterprises’ Technical Efficiency

The computer industry is closely related to other sectors, it’s also the toppriority of high-tech industry. Scholars in the past focused in the factors on thedevelopment of the computer industry such as technological innovation,technological progress, industrial agglomeration and others, but lacked in theproductivity particular technical efficiency relatively, such studies can not haveconvincing theoretical and practical significance. This paper explored ways topromote China’s computer industry from the angle of technical efficiency.The author unfolded the China-USA comparison about the computerenterprises’ technology efficiency in the section of evaluation of technicalefficiency, the final analysis of spillover effects was also to promote the spilloverof technical efficiency’s enhancement and thus to enhance the Chinese computerenterprises’ technology efficiency better. This paper’s innovation embodied in thecross-country comparison about computer enterprises’ technology efficiency, andalso the foundation of spillover effects model, etc. Through the research ofvarious models related to Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and StochasticFrontier Analysis (SFA), the author found that the quality of human capital,whether the share reform is implemented and the asset turnover not only haspositive effects to the technical efficiency of Chinese computer enterprises, butalso promotes the spillover effects from technical efficiency’s enhancement, in theend the author put forward relative suggestions for these three aspects.
