Softswitch-based Next Generation Network (NGN) in communications industry is a hot technology, business and the separation of call control, call and bearer separation, making the provision of flexible, rapid, and the integration of business possible. From a development perspective, NGN is a traditional circuit-switched PSTN-based networks in order to gradually step to IP-based packet switching networks pace. Softswitch System enables operators to take full advantage of existing network resources; flexible access terminal that provides TG/SG, AG, IAD, MSAG, Cable IAD such as access, with the existing fixed, mobile, exchange of multimedia terminals.According to Beijing Unicorn’s NGN network development planning, in 2006 2009 period, the Beijing branch will be to develop integrated access softswitch, including AG\IAD\EPON, etc., in which access gateway AG can provide large-scale interface for user-intensive areas; Integrated Access Device IAD can provide several routes to the dozens of interface, for small density user groups; EPON (Ethernet-based Passive Optical Network) technology is to achieve a point-to-multipoint of FTTX solutions can be achieved through the EPON way FTTB/C/Z/H+ xDSL (ADSL, VDSL) and FTTB/C Z/H+LAN multiple access.The main topics for the Mentougou e branch existing access network infrastructure deficiencies in the transformation of user access network to adapt them to new business trends to meet the diverse needs of users and enhance network value.
