As the national technological innovation after China entering the21st century, high-speed railway has introduced lots of key technologies in the area of vehicles, track, signal control system. As the core of High Speed Rail, high-speed train has made great rapid development after overcoming the technical bottleneck for its high-speed, and once high-speed train malfunctioning, it may cause incalculable economic losses, and even lead to serious casualty accidents. Therefore, the fault diagnosis of high-speed train has always been the a major concerned subject.Web-based high-speed train fault diagnosis expert system is developed by using the combination of expert system, network and communication technology. It can take advantage of the network, find out the cause of the malfunction quickly and propose effective fault measures. The paper mainly researches on key technologies of Web-based high-speed train fault diagnosis expert system. The main tasks are as follows:introduce the fault diagnosis theory and methods, and analyze the requirements of high-speed train fault diagnosis system; use relational database to build the knowledge base according to the theory of expert system; build the inference engine based on J2EE technology architecture, the combination of Java programming language and Jess rules engine; propose an inference control strategy based on the combination of positive-anti-inference and fuzzy inference. The strategy can accurately choose the available knowledge according to the condition, fuzzy processes knowledge and terminate the inference process according to the credibility function and requirement, finally get the conclusion that is similar to the domain experts’decision-making in the field. Using Eclipse. JDK1.6and Apache Tomcat7.0as development tools, Microsoft SQL Server2005as DBMS and the Jess rule engine embedded Web application, develop prototype of the system. The system, which has complete function and simple operation and achieves the development goals and design requirements, are platform-independent and level-independent. Furthermore, the expert knowledge base is easily to maintain.Web-based high-speed train fault diagnosis expert system not only inherits the fault diagnosis characteristics, but also has the advantage of sharing the network resources and extensive source of expert knowledge. With the development of science and technology, the level for the high-speed train fault diagnosis will be further improved as the penetration and integration of equipment testing, control theory, artificial intelligence and Internet technology.
