In recent years, with the development of modern science and technology,networked multi-agent systems are widely applied in many areas including biology,computer science and control engineering. The consensus is an important direction inmulti-agent systems research, has drawn more and more attention, therefore, hasimportant practical significance for the research of multi-agent system consensus. Basedon multi-agent system model in the previous studies, we further investigate theconsensus problems of multi-agent systems with leader and time delay. The maincontents includes the follows.In the first part, consensus of a class of second Multi-agent systems with active leader andtime delay in continuous time is studied. algebraic graph theory Lyapunov theory matrixtheory were used, we obtain some sufficient conditions on consensus for the discretemodel of the second-ordered multi-agent system with the fixed network topology andswitching topology.In the second part, consensus of a class of second Multi-agent systems with active leaderand time delay in discrete time is considered. We obtain some sufficient conditions onconsensus for the discrete model of the second-order multi-agent system with thefixed network topology and switching topology By using matrix theory and Lyapunovtheory.
