The object of this study is concerned with a TV program which is becoming more popular in the present Chinese TV screen---mediation-type television program.It can be seen as a performance that the "private discourse" has come into the TV media, can also be seen as a mode called "private discourse",which the present Chinese TV use to present social individual.The study put the programe into the development of the individual presentation in Chinese TV,through the analysis of the different ways in different stages of individual presentation in Chinese TV, this study found that the "private discourse" is a new mode of Chinese TV’s individual presentation.Therefore it is necessary to analyze the reasons why this new mode arise, and what is the significance and effect of this new mode will produce.The essay is divided into four parts:The first chapter mainly analyses the developments and evolutions about the individual presentation on Chinese TV from the birth to now.The specific analysis put the "reform and opening-up" and "new century" as two segmentation points,through analysis the influence of social environment in different stages on social individual and TV,the study suggests that the early Chinese TV’s individual presentation had "political discourse" nature,after the reform and opening-up,it had "the elite discourse"nature,and from the new century it is shown as "popular discourse"nature.The second chapter mainly introduce the mediation-type programs,after briefly discussed the basic types, characteristics and development status of this kind of program,the study put a typical representative of this type of program---Jiangxi satellite TV "Gold Mediation" as an example, through selecting the sample, and detailed analysis of the specific performance on program’s "private discourse" nature in dividual presentation.The third chapter seen the consumerism as a communication context which brought the "private discourse" into the television media, it is actually to analysis the reason why Chinese TV changed its mode with "privater discourse" in the individual presentation.The reason is mainly reflected in two aspects:one is Chinese TV’s consumerism turnning make it to seeking "consumption" production,and the "privater discourse"had just caterred to the need of this production;the other is the consumerism bring anxiety and confusion to the social individual,and Chinese TV play a moral reconstruction role by "experts" form,that providing a channel to solve individual’s anxiety and confusion.The fourth chapter analyses the significance and influence after Chinese TV’s individual presentation coming to the "private discourse" time.Research expands in three aspects:Frist is for the society, the change has played a "magnifier" role, not only "amplification" of the social problems, but also "amplification"of the social identity;Second is for the individuals, this stage brings promotion to individual’s discourse right of media, to some extent, also helps to solve personal problems, but it also brings the privacy consumption and significance of deception problem;Third is for the television media itself, the expansion fo the "private discourse" will make the function imbalance of TV media, and then produce a worry----the weaken of the TV’s "public"nature.
