Network Forum, also known as BBS, is an Internet-based electronic information service. It provides a free space for Internet users to express views, exchange ideas, access to resources, and make new friends. Now it has won the recognition and support of the majority of Internet users for its openness, freedom, convenience, efficiency, ease of use. But the problem accompanying with it is forum management.Now most of the domestic and international agencies are using people to manage forums, which is time-consuming and error-prone. Its efficiency has gradually been unable to meet the expanding size of forums and the growing amount of information. While at the same time, the text categorization technology has been mature. It has become the key technology in organizing and processing massive documents, and is widely used in journalism, publishing, web page classification, intelligent recommendations and spam filtering. The core work of forum management decision support is the automatic classification of the forum posts, which has a great similarity with the applications of text classification. Using text classification technology to design forum management decision support system, will greatly improve the work efficiency of forum administrators.From the above it can be seen that applying text classification technology to forum auxiliary management has not only mature technology support but also plenty of previous experience.This article describes following parts:1.
