| In mobile communication system, the bandwidth is limited, but the number of users and the quality of service are both on the rise. How to make the resource utilization more efficient, this is the goal which radio resource management has to reach.This thesis has pay much attention on the content, the meaning and the algorithms of radio resource management. Radio resource management consists of packet scheduling, inter cell interference coordination, load balancing and so on.In this paper, first a new kind of event-trigger mechanism of cell load status information exchange between eNBs via X2interface is presented, then based on this a novel load balancing algorithm in LTE systems, named TSLB (two-stage load balancing) is put forward. By adding the proposed load balancing method module in eNBs, eNBs can start corresponding load balancing procedure accurately according to the cell load status in real-time without any manual intervention. Simulation shows that the method is valid and it can increase the system throughput significantly compared with no load balancing and can decrease the network delay compared with conventional solution. |
