RFID uses RF signals through space coupling an alternating magnetic field or radiated electromagnetic fields to achieve communication and identification. RFID has a lot of huge advantages, such as strong anti-interference ability, strict confidentiality and so on. RFID has a wide range of applications in important areas, especially in networking and access control systems. It is urgent tasks and challenges to satisfy RFID’s Large-scale applications demand in-depth study, in which the current difficulties in the UHF band RFID system design is most prominent. A very important part of the challenges is the RFID system antenna’s study and design, which has far-reaching significance and great value for the entire RFID field’s development. The main content of this thesis includes:briefly discusses the RFID technology overview; conduct in-depth research and exposition on the UHF band RFID system antenna theory, which includes reader antenna and tag antenna; based on the theory, prove its correctness in practices. The core idea of this thesis is designing and testing UHF band RFID system antenna according to theory, and proving the theory’s correctness by the results in the end.The research purpose and significance of this thesis is, according to UHF band RFID system antenna research, researching and verifying the core theory in the design work, which has an important guiding significance and research value in theory to design the corresponding antenna. The method of research is to analyze the situation, study and research in-depth the corresponding theory and technology to solve the problems, verify the theory with practice. The results of this thesis include:depth study of the theory in UHF band RFID circularly polarized L-feeder reader antenna, as well as the impedance matching, dipole and T-match in RFID tag antenna; detailed design of a new type L-feeder reader antenna, PCB board tag antenna, and conformal coplanar tag antenna which is applied to anti-counterfeiting applications for liquor; verification of design theory in circularly polarized L-feeder antenna, dipole and T-match tag antenna.
