With the development of computer, multimedia, network and digital image compression technology, making video monitor from analog video monitoring to the development of digital video monitoring. Digital video monitor system bases on the core of networks, digital video compression, transmission, storage and playback, and for the characteristic of intelligent video analysis, caused industry technology revolution of the video monitor, the monitor system can be more effective and widely used in a variety of different environments, which can not only save manpower, but also can improve efficiency.Digital video monitor be in line with the Development of trends which the current of the digitized information society, network and intelligent, also makes video monitor has been widely used in all walks of life.At present, Digital video monitor technology in the theory and application are facing many problems, a large number of domestic and foreign scholars engaged in research and exploration in the field, and made a lot of results. This article is the analysis and research on the basis of these results, on the video monitoring system to analyze some of the key technologies and implementation. The main contents include motion detection and extraction, moving object tracking and face detection tracking. This article first discusses the traditional video monitor technology, and then moving object detection, object tracking, face detection and tracking technology research and programming.We program the digital visual monitor system by using Visual C++, Hikvision SDK, OpenCV, Sql Server2000, etc based on Hikvision DS-4004H board. Based on the platform and then add the motion detection, tracking, face detection and tracking, face counting and other digital video analysis.This thesis discusses the development of video monitor system functional requirements involved in analysis, the overall technical program, system realization, and then a fixed camera for video monitor system, using an improved fast algorithm for Gaussian mixture model, using the background subtraction method for moving target detection, Followed by the use of Kalman filter tracking method for moving target tracking. Design-based Adaboost face detection algorithm modules, and the face count.
