With the high-speed development of shipping industry,the safety of the ship sailing on the sea is becoming more and more important.But the increasingly complexity of sea condition, in order to ensure safety of ship navigation, Marine radar target detection performance is put forward higher requirements. So it requires to develop more efficient target detection algorithm applied to Marine radar system, and then improve the ability of detecting weak target detection of navigation radar under complex conditions. For this purpose, this thesis discuss navigation radar weak signal detection under the clutter environment issue has practical application significance.According to the principle of statistical detection of signal energy, this thesis mainly uses two methods in order to make full use of the echo signalenergy. The one is using the narrow pulse to greatly improve the pulse repetition frequency, while maintaining high resolution range to increase the available signal energy for accumulation detection; the other one is using multiple scans, based on target dynamic correlation to accumulate more signal energy in longer time.This thesis according to the marine radar signal non-coherent accumulation detection,analyzed detection performance of slipping window detector and two-pole filter. And then put forward the constraints in the radar magnetron average power of certain conditions, improve the target detection performance by high repetition rate and high pulse accumulation number; while maintaining the high range resolution, is advantageous to the target identification ability of radar system. At the same time, this thesis also makes the solution of range ambiguity for high pulse repetition frequency.The correlation of multiple scan echo trace from the target dynamic characteristics, especially in the strong clutter environment, the dynamic characteristics is a kind of effective information to identify targets, and then to make full use of the energy principle in the clutter and the target pattern recognition more effectively, to further improve the target detection performance. This thesis discusses four methods for determining the target trajectory method which are the intuitive method and the logic method and the traditional Hough transform method and based on the logic of the improved Hough transform method, analysis the effect of measurement noise for trajectory identification, and demonstrate in simulation experiments with uniform linear motion model in low SNR and high SNR using the traditional Hough transform method and based on the logic of the improved Hough transform method.In this thesis, the algorithm was experimented in the SDZ616hardware platform by measured signal which from FAR-2827navigation radar, and realize the detection algorithm in DSP by embedded software programming, and then display the slipping window detector output effect on the software platform of CCS and radar terminal, and then it achieve the expected effect.
