With the rapid development of computer technology and image communicationtechnology, analysis and Research on image edge has also become the key step in signal andimage processing field. In general, the traditional edge detection to detect through calculationand setting the threshold, has been unable to meet the requirements of the modern computerprocessing technology and image communication technology requirements. So far, a lot ofresearch use a method to detect, and the most starting point is based on wavelet analysis,mathematical morphology,fuzzy mathematics and network theory. Therefore, in most cases,they are unable to get satisfying result.In this paper, Aiming at some shortcomings of Canny algorithm,combined with waveletanalysis and Canny algorithm, the selection of wavelet base is three B spline wavelet, mainlyusing the lifting wavelet to decomposition and reconstruction of image and using particleswarm optimization double threshold improve Canny edge detection operator, usingadvantages of itself respectively do the image processing, finally reach the better the goal ofedge detection.Secondly, this paper studies the basic theory of wavelet transform and particle swarmoptimization, improves particle swarm optimization algorithm of single objective function forthe dual objective function, the double objective function selected respectively image graymean and gray variance, use them to search high and low threshold of a image. The specificsteps are given in the paper, which is applied to the double threshold steps of the traditionalCanny algorithm, and then with three B spline wavelet is based on the combination of edgedetection, common to image edge detection,finally through simulation and comparison andanalysis of the results, proves that edge detection method in this paper, the improvement is theeffectiveness and practicability.Based on methods with the current widely used wavelet and Canny, this algorithm canmake full use of the advantages of the two methods,and this improved algorithm is applied tobrain CT in the telemedicine system in the image, with doing the simulation experiment anddo have certain effect.
