3GPP Long Term Evolution (LTE) is a high-speed wireless communications standard used in mobile phones and data card terminal. This OFDM/FDMA based technique is the evolution of the3G and can be seen as4G technique, as the number of users and their demand for high-rate services increase rapidly. The next generation wireless cellular networks will carry more data transmission.According to recent surveys, around70%of the data services take place in indoor environment. However, indoor signal reception is poor caused by severe penetration losses through walls. Thus the traditional macro cellular networks design method may not satisfy the LTE indoor coverage. In order to solve the above problems, there has been a new base station technology deployed by the user in the interior-the home base station. As a subsystem of the mobile communication network, the home base station enhances the indoor coverage performance and compensates for the existing network coverage defects. But at the same time, the home base station introduces the problem of interference. This paper explores the interference of the two-layer network with coexistence of the home base station and macro base station.
