With the rapid development of computer science, software industry has gradually entered into all aspects of society development and our human life. Software has exerted a great influence on our lives with an amazing power. And for this reason, more and more people become to realize the importance of software quality. As a major part of software quality assurance, software testing has aroused more and more researchers’attention.The development of object-oriented technology, which changes the traditional process-oriented development into object-oriented development, leads software engineering to entere a new stage of development. However, with the unique characteristics such as encapsulation, inheritance and polymorphism, object-oriented software development technology has put forward higher requirements for software testing, and has made great challenges for the software testers.In this paper, a new slice-based object-oriented software integration testing strategy was introduced, which combine both program slicing techniques in unit testing and object-oriented software integration testing together. In this strategy, the UML class diagram which created in the design phase was used to generate a directed diagram. And the slicing technique which used to slice up the source code was used to slice up the directed diagram, so that the unit testing technique was used into solve the integration testing problems. In this paper, the mechanism of the slice-based object-oriented software integration testing strategy was described in detail, which involves many priority algorithms and some key techniques. After that, the new testing strategy was applied in a real-time computing system. Some testing data which produced by the testing process was used to the comparation of the new strategy and other existing strategies, and the effectiveness of the new strategy was proved.
