With the increase of mobile users and the richness of the mobile service, the lack of channel capacity has become a large drag on the development of mobile communications. It is the constraint of radio frequency resource that leads to the shortage of channel capacity, therefore technologies that can greatly increase the spectral efficiency have drawn the attention of researchers. MIMO can improve spectral efficiency by using the technology of space division multiplexing, diversity gain and beamforming. The high performance promised by MIMO technology is highly dependent on the propagation channels, so it is necessary to research on parameter estimation methods and MIMO radio channel modeling.Firstly, this subject researches on the basic feature of wireless channel, including the large-scale fading and the small-scale fading; it also analyses their causes and impact on communication. All these study forms the theory foundation for the subject. Then, this subject studies the basic theory of three channel parameter estimation algorithms:MUSIC, ESPRIT, and SAGE algorithm. And then simulations proceed to compare the performance of MUSIC and ESPRIT algorithm. Based on the WINNER II simulation platform, more research is studied to analysis the influence of speed on SAGE algorithm, and the results illustrate that the SAGE algorithm can be used in high-speed system. At last, this research provides modeling idea for the high-speed railway system; it also simulates the correlation of this scene in the standard modeling of WINNER II. At last, this subject proposes the two-ring model for V2V scenario, and the channel model for the T-junction of V2V scenario; meanwhile, the model correlation is studied and simulated.
