Among all the P2P architectures, peer-to-peer based on the distributed hash tables (DHT) is excellent on workload-balance and topology-stabilization, which is also a hot topic in the research fields. However, there was not a unified standard for these P2P aplications, which is difficult for interactions between different applications. RELOAD protocol applied DHT technology as the resource location kernel, support modules replacement based on the scenarios, RELOAD protocol provided a unified standard for peer-to-peer applications.RELOAD stack provides an abstract message routing and resources storage service, the resource location algorithm is the kernel of the stack. This paper discusses around the resource location module (RLM) consist of3aspects:1) Uniformed Interface:As the plug-ins of the RELOAD stack, RLM abstracted the DHT algorithms, provided a uniformed interface for the stack.2) Design and Implementation of RLM:proposed a system project for the design and implementation of the resource location module based on the RELOAD stack, RLM provide topology operations, routing table maintaince, resource location and other functions for RELOADstack.3) Optimization and Improvement:proposed an improved DHT algorithm Comb based on the scenarios of distributed telcom system.Performance tests and system integration tests were present at the end of this paper, the test results demonstrated that the RLMs have excellent load balance and resource location efficiency, integration test also verifies the feasibility of the resource location modules and the uniformed interfaces.
