3GPP has started the Long Term Evolution (LTE) Project of Universal Mobile Telecommunication System since2004. As the technology standard of "Quasi4G", LTE system introduced the new transmission technology——OFDM, flattened the system architecture in order to reach the goal of higher data rate, lower time delay, bigger system capacity and better quality of service.This paper is mainly about LTE uplink physical layer control and parallel strategy analysis. First of all, the paper made an overall introduction about the LTE system. And it mainly introduced the time and frequency structure, characteristics and functions of the three uplink physical channels and reference signals. Secondly, the paper gave information about the simulation platform Intel General Purpose Processor (GPP), brought forward the implementation solution for LTE uplink control process and then gave detailed descriptions about the data processing flow of every physical layer. Finally, we introduced parallel processing to achieve much higher throughput. And we tested and verified the validity of the LTE uplink control solutions we proposed on GPP platform. By comparison, we also proved that the throughput of the system improved dramatically after parallel processing and the system had much better performance.
