Animated film has become a general form of art and entertainment, in which objects in deferent styles are contained, and cartoon and ink blended scene is frequently used. So it’s important to composite images with different styles, and image fusion has attracted more and more attention. From the point of composite ink style images, this paper proposes a color ink simulation method for edge information enhancement, and obtains ink painting images using three kinds picture with Poisson seamless fusion method. The paper carries out the research from two aspects. First, it proposes a color ink simulation method for edge information enhancement, which can realize automatic drawing of ink painting by the image-based computer simulation. The innovation is that it makes the overall picture have rich layers by weighted synthesizing the image edge information and the diffusion result. The experimental results show that this method can make the overall picture have rich layers and the style of ink diffusion is closer to the actual creation effect. Moreover, using this method, this paper obtains a series of different styles of Chinese ink paintings by adjusting the diffusion time and the synthesis weights. The author notes that the ink diffusion simulation method can only work on single image at one time and can not compose different objects from different images, while the Poisson image editing method can be used to seamlessly compose different objects from different photographs, but has not been used to work on the artistic image before. This paper presents a new image fusion method by combing the color ink simulation method and the Poisson image editing method to obtain composited ink style images which merges different objects from different images without obvious artifacts.
