International Conference Registration System Development

In the developing process of globalization, more and more international meetings wereholding in every corner of world. Lots of Universities and Institutes hold their meeting for theworld. And the process of submission is a growing burden to those hosts. We proposed a newmethod to build submission system for them in this paper.Generally speaking, a submission system should guarantee the users can register in theweb set, and register user can submit paper to the web set. The web set should accepted severalkinds of users, they have different permissions. In the managing system one kind of users cansubmit paper other kind of user can review paper, other user take the responsibility to managethe web set. If all those work has to be fulfilled by human, it will be very costly and lowreliability. And those functions could not be accomplished by HTML language.Current meeting system always has a information release platform accomplished by staticweb pages, and there are several kinds of shortcoming. First of all, if the meeting postpones thedeadline of register time, or there are some information needs to be published, a static web pagewill meet its Waterloo. The submitter just can take the information beforehand, or take otherkind of information way, it will be cost overwhelmingly, and low reliability. After the meeting,all of the submitted papers need to be extracted from the email set, and typesetting again, it willmake the managing work more boring for human. It is necessarily to design a dynamic web setto take the meet administrate job. Therefore, we develop the register system based on thetechnology of dynamic web page.In this paper, we introduce a new international meeting managing system. This system hassix modules, the module for user register, the module for submit, the module for paper review,the module for paper distribution and the module for system managing. This work uses thepattern of: Struts+Spring+Hibernate（SSH）. And the pattern design is MVC, it will force toseparate output of the system from input process and the handle process. It can guan tree thesafe, maintainable, extendable, portable and reusable. The processer will accept the user’s applyand call correspond module to deal with the applies, under the system’s control. This register system can accept the common user’s register, and managing for the backdata system. It can transform information in the flock, and distribute papers, accept review andsubmit paper. The system can feedback to the user as soon as possible, and reduce the failure inthe communication by email. It can support the reviewer transport the review to the submitter.At last, the system can make the manager take responsibility.
