With the rapid development of economic and social progress, the demand ofpeople for life continuously improving and electrical equipment in the family alsoneeds constantly updated to meet the growing needs. How to manage these devicesconveniently to enrich his domesticity has become a very meaningful issue. TheIntelligent household as a way of manage domesticity properly come into our lives.The intelligent household based on place of residence as a platform make use ofcommunications technology, network connection binding, automation controltechnology, firewall technology, network cabling technology, video and audiotransmission technology and so on to make the device integrated in domesticity toensure family affairs efficient. With the development of mobile communicationmore and more functions of the PC side can be ported on mobile devices whichgreatly facilitate the daily lives of people.Android as China’s largest mobile user terminal its openness and stability attract alarge number of users and developers. Based on the development of the Android theintelligent household control system has much more users and also has broadprospects.The first chapter of this article introduces the research and the significance of theintelligent household control system and also analyze the lack of this stage theintelligent household control system in now days and the advantage as an Androidapplication. Then introduces the fundamental things of the Android platform includingthe overall architecture and features of the Android system, Android application structure analysis and also the components used during the development of interfacecontrols. Next introduce the implementation of Android home control systemincluding the introduction of the development environment, the intelligent householdcontrol system interface design and function implementation which is divided intofour modes: switch mode, temperature mode, monitor mode, and metering mode.Switch mode: In this mode users can remotely view the status of all switches andalso control the switch, the user can add, delete, modify the switches. Users can savethe current state of all switches on demand for a custom name mode to make itconvenient for the users to control the switches.Temperature mode: In Temperature mode, the user can view the temperaturesensor which connected to home devices. In the operator interface users can choose toadd, delete, modify the temperature sensor to make the contents of the custom. Intemperature mode, the user can also save the current temperature state as a customname mode, you can quickly select the temperature.Monitor mode: Users through the camera set up in the Android end and homemonitoring mode for remote connections, the way of connection include Socket andHttp. In this mode, users can real-time monitor the state of the current. The users canalso get the page in video stream to save it as pictures.Measurement model: In this mode user may have a brief understanding of thecost of the resources during family life. With the knowing of the usage about water orgas, users can get those information remotely instead of checking the watch byhimself.
