A Study On The Anti-pre-emptive Usage Of The Dexis In Newspaper And News Language

The anti-pre-emptive of deixis is one of common phenomenon in the using of Chinesespecifier. The authority, objective accuracy, convenience and context metastatic of newswriting all provide the possibility that the phenomenon of anti-pre-emptive of deixis appears.The news language required to be explicit, authentic and accurate, so in the process of usinglanguage, in order to ensure the smooth of information’s transferring, using the deicticexpressions has more obvious advantages than non-deictic expression. This paper will studythe news language as corpus, analyzing the generation and definition, formation mechanism,type analysis, usage and function in anti-pre-emptive of deixis. The formation ofanti-pre-emptive of deixis relates to many factors, such as style factors, depth of deixis, theusage of being accepted due to customs, the characteristics of non-deictic expression anddemand of speaker or recipient, ect. In addition, the anti-pre-emptive relates closely to thecooperation principle and adaptation principle. According to the traditional classification ofdeixis, the anti-pre-emptive can also be divided into five types: the anti-pre-emptive of persondeixis, the anti-pre-emptive of time deixis, the anti-pre-emptive of place deixis, theanti-pre-emptive of chapter deixis and the anti-pre-emptive of social deixis. Through the wayof artificial data statistics to analyze various type of specifier, we summarize the applicationcharacteristic of the phenomenon about anti-pre-emptive of deixis in newspaper language.Moreover, the anti-pre-emptive of deixis has certain pragmatic function. Its usage not onlymakes the news information transfer more accurate, objective, and convenient, but also hasan important enlightenment function to the writing of newspapers or the other media.
