China is one of the main producers of bottle contained pr oducts due tothe great domesti c and world-wi de need. As a result of the growing demandson the quality of bottle-contained products and the public’s attention t ohealth, manufactures of bott le-cont ained product empl oys many workers t ocontrol t he product qual ity by visual percepti on, whi ch consume s muc hwork force and degrade the efficiency. One option is t o use i mport edautomation equipme nt, however, these equipment s are extremel y expensi veand we can not obtain t he core technology due to technology blockade. It i surgent to develop propriet ary int elli gent property aut omati cbottle-contained product quality control equipment. In this thesis, such amarching type robot for2ml ampoule quality measurement is developed andits electrical control system i s gi ven in great detail. This robot can contro lampoule product quality effectively and free the burdens of workers. It alsocauses great profit.In the beginni ng, t his thesi s anal yzes the huge market of liquor、beverage、medicine and reveals the great demand on product quality controland t he necessit y of developing i ndependent i ntelli gent property qualit ycontrol robots. The paper also explains the development of quality controlmethod, incl uding manual met hod and the automatic machine visi onmethod.Then, this thesis analyz e t he core technology fo r an ampoule automaticmachine vision quality control robot, incl udi ng the illumination、 optic allens、industrial camera. A platform for2ml a mpoule quality control is built.Two implementation schemes for the “rotat e–st op” moti on was developed,incl uding stati onary schema and marchi ng type schema. Stationary sche mais for experiments and the other one is for the robot. Detail s of t he schemaare gi ven through mechani cal drawi ng and el ectri cal connection diagramIn the end, this thesis presents the design of the control system fro msoft ware and hardware perspectives. Th e hardware desi gn adopts industri alPC as system as the syst em core and Siemens S7-300PLC. Indust rial PC i sused t o process i mage and j udge product quality. PLC is in charge of elect rical control and is used to gather sensor signal and generate controlsignal. Communication between PC and PLC uses MPI i nterface. To meetGMP requirements, the PLC is desi gned to be able to communicate wit hother PLC in the product line. The software of the controller includehuman-int erface designed using VC6.0and PLC program desi gned wi thSIMATIC STEP7V5.4for hardware configuration. The communication isreali zed using Si emens soft ware package Prodave.
