In recent years wireless communication have got a large development, the use of radio relaytechnology and wireless network coding technology have become more extensive. Radio relaytechnology is used to expand the network coverage and improve the throughput of cell edge users.Wireless network coding technology is used to improve the throughput of network, balance networkload and increase the network lifetime. Due to the radio relay technology and wireless networkcoding technology have their own advantages and can be used in combination, so radio relaytechnology and wireless network coding technology can be used to improve the performance of thetraditional network. This thesis studies the performance of the single-user relay network, multi-user relay networksas well as the butterfly network based wireless relay. In the third chapter, the performance of the single-user relay network is studied. Firstly,single-user relay network of DF and AF are compared in the performance. Secondly, the sub-carriermatching technology and power optimization algorithm are used in the network of DF and AF. Thesimulation results show that the performance of the DF relay network is superior AF relay networkperformance, the subcarriers pairing technology and power optimization technology can improvesystem performance. In the fourth chapter, the performance of the multi-user relay network is studied. Firstly, thebasic principles of several subcarrier allocation and power optimization algorithms are studied. Onthis basis, the performance of these algorithms based on the network model of the multi-user relaynetwork is studied. The simulation results show that considering throughput and fairness index ofthe multi-user relay network, the proportional fairness algorithm is superior to FDM and greedyalgorithm. In the fifth chapter, the performance of the butterfly network which is based on wireless relayand direct transmission network are studied. Firstly, the location of radio relay is studied. Secondly, the average capacity of the network which uses wireless network coding technology and directtransmission network are compared. Finally, the power optimization algorithm is used to increasethe average capacity of butterfly network. The simulation results show that the average capacity ofthe butterfly network which is based on wireless relay increases under certain conditions.
