The Internet has profoundly affected the way people live and work. It makes a greatcontribution on economic development and social progress. However, after40years ofdevelopment, the architecture of Internet faces a range of issues. It is more difficult to adapt to therapid expansion of the global network scale and meet the needs of new applications and traffic.Network virtualization technology plays an important role in solving the ossification problem ofInternet.Adequate research papers on the virtual network mapping problem, in-depth analysis ofexisting research, and focus on two virtual network mapping problem:(1)Dynamic Virtual Network Embedding (DVNE) problem: the author proposes and studies theproblem of optimal provisioning for evolving virtual network requests. When a Virtual Network(VN)request evolves, it is necessary to reconfigure the existing VN in order to adapt to itschanging requirements and remap it intelligently so that the resources of the underlying substratenetwork are used efficiently. This research considers four different scenarios of evolving VNs, andformulates the problem as a mathematical optimization, and proposes a heuristic algorithm.(2)Static Virtual Network Embedding (SVNE) problem: the author studies the static virtualnetwork mapping algorithm based on ant colony algorithm. The algorithm proposed the concept ofcoordination of nodes and links, the use of the correlation factor between the nodes and links in thevirtual network as far as the physical area assigned to the centralized, thus unify node mapping andlink mapping process, and solve the problem of a general algorithm for topology sparse. The paper also uses simulation software to a large number of simulation tests of the improvedalgorithm, the simulation results show that the improved algorithm to obtain better performance.
