Wireless mobile communication technologies have got rapid development during the recentdecade. Various kinds of wireless access technologies are created in response to the businessdemand of mass users. One sole network cannot meet particular demands of all users. Therefore thispaper concludes that the development trend of new-generation communication network must be theintegrated network with various access technologies.With the growing needs for ABC&S services, user-centric converged networks become thedirection of evolution. In order to provide users with cross-system seamless service in theheterogeneous networks, how to realize the continuity of vertical handover of the conversationamong the heterogeneous networks becomes one of the key problems which need to be solvedimmediately.Three stages of vertical handover are analyzed in the paper to explore every point which can beoptimized. Firstly, the user-centric CBM model replaces the traditional operator-centric SBM modelin order to increase network’s autonomy and flexibility for the user. Secondly, to enhance thecredibility and accuracy of input parameters, high-quality and all-round HierarchicalMulti-Dimensional Context-Aware model is proposed in consideration of multi-level characteristicsand multi-dimension attributes of the information. Thirdly, the optimization algorithm for a globaloptimal solution is described according to the different classification of decision-making andlimiting factors to reduce the error rate of decisions. Fourthly, for the enhancement of handoverperformance in the handover execution stage, the current solutions focusing on single-layer orcross-layer optimization have no significant effect. So a multilayer collaboration handover schemeis put forward, collaborating all layers participated in the process. Lastly, the correctness andvalidity of the model raised are verified from three aspects of the theory, the prototype system andsimulation platform. |
