Wireless sensor network contains microelectromechanical technology, embedded technology, and wireless communication technology, it has been widely used in various applications in recentyears, such as tracking critical facilities and monitoring animal habitats. Due to the data is relevantin terms of time and space which is collected by the adjacent nodes, the data aggregation in wirelesssensor network is the research field which is more concerned in recent years. Data aggregation canreduce the amount of transferred data and the number of nodes, thereby using the limited nodes andnetwork resources efficiently in wireless sensor networks. The wireless sensor network is very vulnerable to various attacks because of the characteristicsof openness and self-organization, thus affecting the results of the data aggregation, causing greatharm to the users. Many secure data aggregation schemes in the wireless sensor networks are usedto solve the security of data aggregation, so that the attackers can not attack through eavesdroppingor capturing the nodes. It requires a safe and efficient data aggregation schemes in the field ofcommercial and military applications in the wireless sensor networks. In this paper, we mainly consider the two aspects of the confidentiality and integrity of dataaggregation, focusing on researching and analysising the PDA data aggregation scheme based onpoint-to-point encryption of the confidentiality of data aggregation. The two schemes CPDA andSMART in the PDA scheme can protect the private data better, however, but they have a majorproblem is that the unnecessary traffic which is generated in the network transmission, resulting in ahigh computation and communication overhead. This paper proposes a data aggregation schemebased on the complex number called CNPD (ComplexNumber-based Privacy Data Aggregation). This scheme utilizes complex numbers hiding and merging the data during the transmissionbetween the sensor nodes and the receivers, even if the private data being eavesdropped ordecrypted by the attacker, this method can prevent them to resuming the sensitive information. Thesimulation experiments and theoretical analysis finally show that CNPD is more efficient than PDAin terms of communication overhead and security.
