RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology has been widely used in non-contactobjects identification based on radio frequency electromagnetic theory. It has the advantages ofnon-contact communicating, easy to read and write the data, high communicating speed and good indata security. Therefore this technology has been developed rapidly for these years, along with itsapplications across a wide range of industries. It is clear to see that the RFID system will likely totake the place of bar codes and contact IC applications in the near future.Along with the rapid development of RFID technology, how to deal with the data exchangeaccurately among multiple tags at the same time has become the key problem in the RFIDsystem. In this paper, we address these obstacles and give a profound meditation on key issues ofRFID system. The following efforts have done:First, we briefly introduce the background andimportance of researching RFID system, along with the present domestic and overseas researchstatus.Second, the composition and the presented principles in the RFID system are are elucidated.Third, we introduce the current tag anti-collision algorithms which mainly be separated in to theALOHA-based algorithms and the bibary-based algorithms, and illustrate the reader anti-collisionalgorithms. Fourth,we proposal an Enhanced Dynamic Slotted ALOHA algorithm, whichsynthesized two other algorithms and can calculate the tag number accurately in a short span oftime.Fifth, base on the available RFID deterministic anti-collision algorithms,we explore anEnhanced Slotted Binary Tree Algorithm which is more effective than other some existingmethods.
