With the accelerating of the degree of social information,people now pay more and more attention to the mass data,so how to store and manage these large data in a safe way efficiently is a difficult issue to solve.The emergence of distributed Storage System(DSS) is a good solution to these problems.We put these mass data into different storage server in different location,and take appropriate redundancy,so meet the high reliability requirements of data.In the aspect of data repair,when a storage node is invalid,the traditional distributed storage generally taken erasure code to deal with the invalid data.,and we discussd the three data recovery module of the erasure code in our paper. This method improve the safety of the data.Meanwile,it also brings a larger bandwidth consumption and large computing load.In order to improve the bandwidth of distributed storage further,we propose a practical application of network coding-based distributed storage system.We know that the coal advantage of network coding is the re-encoding in intermediate nodes.In our network coding-based distributed storage,from using re-encoding technology in storage node as the intermediate node,and regard the client as source node when sending data,as well as sink node when receiving data, we put the data repair process in different distributed server evently.Then we not only improve the bandwidth efficiency significantly,but also balanced the computing load.Besides,we enhance the security level of the data.
