MIMO is the core technique of the next generation mobile communication system. VirtualMIMO can get the single antenna mobile users together to cooperate with each other for sendinginformation, take full advantage of MIMO technique and greatly improves the quality ofcommunication of mobile users. Correspondingly, researche on the virtual MIMO becomes thehotspot and the resources allocation technique becomes the key technique, which broadly attractsthe academic attentions.Based on in-depth study on the basic theory and related technologies of virtual MIMO,coordination communication and resource allocation, the dissertation has carried on aninvestigation into the cooperative user selection and power allocation, aiming at looking forbetter resource allocation algorithm with considerable communication capacity, lowercomplexity. The main works includes:1The reasonable cooperative occasion and the cooperative users determined the systemperformance of Virtual MIMO, however, the complicated wireless communicate environmentand the randomicity of the users’ position brings challenges to the design of high efficiencycooperative strategy. An adaptive user selection algorithm based on joint optimization ofcooperative protocol is proposed, which chooses a joint optimization by making full use of theusers’ decoding information and adaptively selects the best forward protocol at the same time ofcooperative user selection to get a better performance of the system. Theoretical analysis andsimulations show that the proposed algorithm has a good adaptation of the transmissionenvironment and the capacity and outage probability performance is greatly improved.2Single cooperative users selection is the basic way of Virtual MIMO system. In oder toget better system performance, how to select more better users to join in the cooperationaccording to the variational system status is worthy to be studied. By the in-depth analysis oftraditional incremental relaying protocol, an adaptive multi-user selection algorithm based onjoint optimization of cooperative protocol is given. Taking the outage condition as standard, thealgorithm can adaptively decide how many users and which users to cooperate with to improvingthe outage and capacity performance. Simulation results shows that compared with the non-jiontway, the algorithm can provide higher transmission capacity and outage performance withsimilar amounts of cooperative users, and improve the level of utilizing virtual MIMO systemresources.3Cooperative users selection and power resource alloction are related with each other,Simensions reducing idea can be adopted in order to reduce the dealing complexity, the process can be divided into two stages. Aiming at the problem of best power resource allocation, basedon the in-depth research on the power allocation algorithm in the model in the single source andmulti relay in the virtual MIMO, the thesis proposes a power allocation based on area searching.Instead of solving equations in the iterative water filling, the algorithm simplify the wholesolving process by area searching of the source power allocation factor. Theoretical analysis andsimulations show that the algorithm reduce the complexity greatly, with a sure of the systemporfermance.4As the extendability of the single source cooperacive model, based on the research onthe cooperacive model in the multi source and multi relay virtual MIMO, a power allocationalgorithm based on linear water-filling is given, which makes use of the linear power relation ofthe cooperative users and sovle the promble in a recursive way, which can exclude the users whohas a poor channel status and avoids the excessive operations in the iterative process. Simulationresult shows that the capacity performance of the algorithm is close to that of the iterative waterfilling algorithm.
