As an emerging IT framework, cloud computing is greatly affecting the transformation of IT. Cloud storage is an extension of cloud computing, which mainly provide the cloud service as the online storage. The security of cloud storage data is the key factors that limit its further development. However, it lacks a complete and effective cloud storage data integrity verification program. Therefore, the research of cloud storage data integrity has the important practical and theoretical significance. In this paper, we mainly research the data integrity in the context of cloud storage, based on analyzing the existing data integrity verification program, and propose a data integrity verification method based on the Proof of Retrievability (PoR) and Message Digest Algorithm (MD5). The specific contributions are as follows:(1) We propose a data integrity verification method for cloud storage:The sample data is used to compute the verification information in the data pre-processing, thus avoiding computing all involved data and reducing the consumption of computing resources. The workload of data integrity verification is transferred to a trusted third party in order to reduce the computation complexity of data integrity verification. The authentication steps are added to the phase of data transmission in order to avoid that the data is attacked in the network transmission.(2) We propose a dynamic management mechanism for storage server in order to real-time update the storage status of central control node, thus improving the safety and reliability of the data in the cloud server.(3) We propose a design architecture for cloud storage integrity verification, and analyze the application of proposed method on the static and dynamic data.
