Small And Medium-sized Enterprises Based On SOA CAx/PDM System Integration Design And Implementation

As information technology is more and more widely used in manufaeturingindustry，the Product Data Management becomes the important technique which unifiesto manage all informations which related products and process.Various type CAxapplications (CAD/CAE/CAPP/CAM) are usually used independent of these aidedapplications leads to repetitive datum, insulated information, dispersible business,independence operation and so on.It has restricted the further development ofmanufacturing industry. How to realize the integration of heterogeneous systems is thekey problem to enhance the production efficiency and implement informatization inmanufacturing industry at present.CAx Integration Technology based on PDM in Service-Oriented Architecture(SOA)is studied, and customization CAx System based on PDM is developed, according toFuzhou Science and Technology project “Information Integration Technology in cranedesign&manufacturing”,after the analysis of current research situation on theintegration of CAx and PDM and the current research on CAx, with the use of SOA、Web Service Technology. The key issues studied and conclusions deduced in the paperare as follow:1．In accordance with Service-Oriented Architecture, the PDM’s functionality canbe encapsulated by a new interface which is developed based on it’s original interface.In this way, the PDM can be utilized as a service for CAD、CAPP、CAE systems, andCAx systems have been integrated with PDM.2．The data transfer of systems information is achieved with XML technology andWeb Services technology. data structure of product structure tree based on BOM tree isproposed,which the information model is established to be the same with systemintegration.These technology will effect management of the product information and theintegration of heterogeneous systems.3．The secondary development of inventor and Autodesk Productstream will cometrue the messagement automatic storage(database) of three-dimensional CAD products、parts data etc. and automatic generation product model to achieve the integration of CAx/PDM.4．The integration of CAE and PDM bases on three-dimensional CAD software.We put forward the way of hierarchical storage management to manage different dataand achieve the integration of CAE and PDM through establishing the workflow engine.5．The further development of the Time Quota module and Material Quotamodule base on PDM in intrinsic CAPP system which develops the function of CAPPsystem in order to meet the requirements of application systems such as CAM、ERP etc.
